Managing organizations

To create an organization

The following is the procedure for creating an organization.

  1. Log in with system administrator rights.

  2. On the menu, click “System management > Organization > Create” to display the organization registration input form.

  3. Enter the organization details and then click the “Create” button to register the organization.


To access organization information

The following is the procedure for accessing organization information.

  1. Log in with system administrator rights.

  2. On the menu, click “System management > Organization > Access” to display the course list.

  3. On the search input form, you can enter a keyword and then click the “Search” button to narrow down the list of organization information.

  4. Clicking the desired “Organization name” link on the organization list will display detailed information about that organization.


To edit an organization

The following is the procedure for editing an organization.

  1. Log in with system administrator rights.

  2. On the menu, click “System management > Organization > Access” to display the course list.

  3. Click the desired “Organization name” link on the organization list to display detailed information about that organization.

  4. Click the “Edit organization information” link to display the organization editing form.

  5. Make the changes you want and then click the “Apply” button to apply them.


To delete a single organization

The following is the procedure for deleting a single organization.

  1. Log in with system administrator rights.

  2. On the menu, click “System management > Organization > Access” to display the course list.

  3. Click the desired “Organization name” link on the organization list to display detailed information about that organization.

  4. Click the “Delete this organization information” link to delete the organization.


To delete multiple organizations

The following is the procedure for deleting multiple organizations.

  1. Log in with system administrator rights.

  2. On the menu, click “System management > Organization > Access” to display the course list.

  3. On the course list, select the desired organizations and then click the “Delete selected organizations” link to delete them.


To batch process organizations

The following is the procedure for batch registration, editing, and deletion of organizations using a CSV file.

  1. Log in with system administrator rights.

  2. On the menu, click “System management > Organization > Access” to display the course list.

  3. Click the “Download list as CSV file” link to download the CSV file template.

  4. On the menu, click “System management > Organization > Batch process” to display the batch process input form.

  5. Edit the downloaded CSV file to create a batch file.

  6. Click the “Browse” button and then select the CSV file you created.

  7. Click the “Send” button to perform the batch process.

Hint

If you create a batch file that causes an error, an error message describing the problem will appear on the next page. Check the contents of the file and correct the problem, and then return to the previous page to re-register.


Deleting an organization

Deleting an organization that is being used as the organization of a user causes that user to become unassigned (unspecified).
